These systems have been manufactured to process low density, high viscosity materials directly from open top 60 or 205 litre drums. The process has evolved recently with materials being developed for "Direct Tooling" applications these mean that low production run products can be manufactured directly from an epoxy paste.
2KM system are tailored for each area of application and the company works closely with the customer and the materials supplier to ensure the complete process runs smoothly.
The 2K8100 range is based around hydraulically operated piston pumps giving a commercially attractive system for low usage applications.
The 2K8200 systems utilise high flow, progressive cavity metering being driven by inverter controlled, geared AC motors and a micrprocessor controller.
The 2K8300 series utilise the metering system from the 2K8200 system but uses a simple control unit to reduce complexity and costs.
All systems are available for 60 or 205 litre drums.
